Blink-182, Weezer Touring Together This Summer?

Perhaps they should call it the "Bleezer" tour?

Blink-182 and Weezer will be hitting the road together this summer, according to Buzznet.com.

Citing "an informed source," Buzznet reported that the tour is "a done deal," and that while the routing hasn't been locked up, fans can expect an announcement shortly. Blink will headline, with Weezer serving as "their main supporting act."

At press time, there was no official confirmation about the Bleezer tour. Spokespeople for both Blink-182's label and Weezer declined to confirm the Buzznet report to MTV News.

Ever since reuniting onstage at the Grammy Awards in February, Blink have been rehearsing for an upcoming tour (as well as recording new material). Soon after, bassist/singer Mark Hoppus began posting updates on the progress of those rehearsals on his Twitter account, including one Tweet in March where he posted "rehearsal list," sending fans into a tizzy. He's remained unusually quiet about the possible Weezer tour, however, which leads some to believe that the Buzznet story may be true.

If it is, it wouldn't be the first time either act has paired up with a high-profile act for a tour. In 2005, Weezer and the Foo Fighters joined forces on the so-called "Foozer" tour, and Blink toured with Green Day in 2002 and No Doubt in 2004.
